Project Overview

CAPI USA is a non-profit dedicated to building vibrant communities and helping Minnesota's newest immigrants and refugees navigate the systems and services they need to thrive. Their goal is to guide immigrants and refugees in the journey toward self-determination and social equality.

The Twin Cities World Refugee Day is an initiative of CAPI to bring these communities together through storytelling, dance, music, art, and cultural awareness.

The Mirror Ink team was brought on board to produce the 2019 Twin Cities Refugee Day. We had just 4 months to produce the festival. With over 15+ years of experience producing events, we knew our team was up to the task. We worked closely with the CAPI team in providing marketing consulting, and working out the logistics and planning for this event. We also had many contributing partners helping to bring the festival to life. As a result, the event was successful and caused a chain reaction of awareness in other communities.
